Sami Culture takes one group (only) to a genuine reindeer herding week on the mountains of North Norway to experience reindeers giving birth to baby reindeers, and you will also experience world class ice fishing, herd reindeers and enjoy the spring like most people never done it before.
If you are interested in a genuine trip to the mountain plateau with family or friends, after all snowmobile traffic is stopped on the mountains, to enjoy total silence, you now have the opportunity to join us on a exclusive trip. The trip is without program and we don´t use the clocks while on the mountains, we just relax and follow the nature's speed of time in a reindeer herding way.
We will start to the mountains 12th of May 2012 (booking at least 1 week before) from Reisa valley in North Norway and we take maximum 5 people with us. We set 3 tents up and live in them with a stove as heat source. You will have the opportunity to go shopping for food and we recommend you to have your own clothing, sleeping bags and other personal stuff. The 19th of May we return to Reisa valley and drive you to Sørkjosen airport, where we also pick you up the 12th of May (before the trip).
